ENTHRONED - Carnage In Worlds Beyond

Well, at least Enthroned get it somewhat right this time around, their Napalm Records debut easily being their best album to date as these Belgian black metal fiends unleash another frenzied black metal attack in their Satanic warlike manner. Admittedly though, I never really saw eye to eye with this band (for some reason, every time I hear them I relentlessly ache for Marduk) but for this round Enthroned manage to get a good strong sound which helps to showcase their bestial and feisty material to the fullest extent, almost re-living the style that Sodom and Sarcofago are blatantly known for. Musically this is also their most interesting and energetic affair, simply set to kill in Satanic might. But then again, there was always that little pesky characteristic (aside from the vocals) that would get under the skin and annoy to no end. It doesn't surface as much this time around, thankfully, given that in the past, Enthroned have always bored me to death with their barbaric spurts.
