Sophomore effort from Greek guitar god, Gus. G., along with Pagan's Mind drummer, Stian Kristoffersen. On David T. Chastain's label, the guitarist couldn't help but inject his two cents (co-writing a pair of tunes with G.). Unlike most solo guitar projects, Firewind concentrate on catchy, guitar-driven songs, with 'The Fire & The Fury' being the only instrumental. Thematically, the lyrics revolve around war and world conflict, seemingly directed against recent US foreign policy, without saying so, directly. Infinitely more varied and enjoyable than Dream Evil (G's day job).
