KRISIUN - AssassiNation

Krisiun’s got to be the longest lasting one-trick pony in metal, this band of Brazilians playing, perfecting and re-perfecting unadulterated death metal to the core, immediately discarding any and all notions of doing things even a bit differently. And while all that remains the same on AssassiNation, Krisiun has also put together one hell of a turbo-charged record, the band killing the competition in so many ways. From its bludgeoning and warm production to its epic song-structures, AssassiNation can ultimately be crowned Krisiun’s best work to date, beating the listener into submission but also instilling some pretty catchy riffs into said listener’s brain. Who knew death metal could be this vital and impressive in the age of deathcore?
