VOMITORY - Revelation Nausea

The album to turn to after rearing your head towards that easy going Catastrophic release. Along with fellow Swedes Deranged, Vomitory were always seen as some sort of successor to the throne of Swedish brutal death grind. But what the fuck, if this album doesn't get them there, then what will? Their last album, Redemption, was killer, but this is too much. Produced at Berno Studios (which seems to be making a name for itself lately), this is easily the best product to ever emerge from those studio confines. Vicious, malevolent searing death grind that tears out and lacerates in the most potent of manners. There are many faces to this monster; the luscious speed factor, the pounding rhythms that crush the bone to dust, along with a new sense of colossal proportions not even heard before. Hearing songs like 'When Silence Conquers', 'Under Clouds Of Blood', and 'The Holocaust' you think that these guys can actually be the successors to Bolt Thrower's throne. Well not like it would be a hard throne to conquer these days, but with this new album on a new label, these dudes better get a new lease on life. Sweden's latest, most lethal killing machine has emerged.
