ARCHSPIRE Unleash New Single / Video “Red Goliath”

Archspire, the world’s fastest band, unleash their ferocious new single, “Red Goliath”.

“Red Goliath” marks the third single released from their upcoming album, To fast To Die, due out on April 10. Now five albums deep, the band continues to push the limits of speed and virtuosity while somehow keeping a sharp focus on hooks. Their music sits on a knife’s edge of “too much,” and just when you think you’ve hit overload, they drop in a soaring melody or a meticulously crafted clean section long enough for you to breathe, before throwing you back into a rap-flow vocal assault or some of the fastest drumming you’ll ever hear.

About the new track, guitarist Dean Lamb shares: “Have you ever wanted something sooooo bad, but it just didn’t exist or seem possible? Like hot carbonated coffee or underwear that doesn’t make your back fat pop out like two extra butt cheeks? Well, that’s exactly how we felt writing our song, ‘Red Goliath’! It just seemed as impossible as a grade 7 math problem. But somehow, by the grace of Satan, we managed to pull off writing the most couch humping, super sonic technical black metal song known to the universe. We hope you all absolutely despise this evil song as much as we do! Too Fast To Die drops April 10th, pre-order now at archspire.net.”

Archspire are proud to announce the Long Roads Big Loads Tour with special guests Undeath, Crown Magnetar, and Mutilation Barbecue. The tour supports their upcoming album, Too Fast To Die.

The run kicks off on April 24 in Calgary, AB at The Palace Theatre and tears across North America before wrapping up at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver, BC on June 6.

Archspire comments: “We (just Oli) always wanted to call a tour ‘Long Roads Big Loads’ and we finally decided that we’re now dumb enough to pull the trigger! If you’re in North America, chances are you may see us abusing a gas station bathroom stall near you! We’re playing a few new songs and exposing our new drummer to the world! Make sure to heckle the shit out of him! Stay Tech.”

Since 2009, Archspire has aimed to be one thing above all else: extreme. With their upcoming release Too Fast To Die, they’ve once again raised the bar for what extreme music can be.

“We’re like a bit of meth in your cigarette,” says vocalist Oliver Rae Aleron, describing the band’s unhinged live show. “I think people don’t quite know how to describe what they’re hearing.”

Now five albums deep, the band continues to push the limits of speed and virtuosity while somehow keeping a sharp focus on hooks. Their music sits on a knife’s edge of “too much,” and just when you think you’ve hit overload, they drop in a soaring melody or a meticulously crafted clean section long enough for you to breathe; before throwing you back into a rap-flow vocal assault or some of the fastest drumming you’ll ever hear.

In 2025, Archspire announced their new drummer, Spencer Moore, marking a shift in the band’s trajectory. New blood brings new influences, and with the first single “Carrion Ladder,” they intend to show exactly how quickly he proved himself.

“I had to step my game up fast to pull off the new material,” Spencer explains. “But once we started tracking, everything felt comfortable and natural.”

Recorded in 2025, the album reunites the band with world-renowned producer Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Khemmis) for the third time. They locked themselves inside his Denver studio for several months, cutting out distractions and dedicating themselves entirely to the record.

Too Fast To Die follows the critically acclaimed Juno Award winning Bleed The Future, and marks the band’s first fully independent release. Early in the writing process they chose to crowdfund the album, a strategy they’d used before; but nothing prepared them for the scale of what came next.

They raised nearly $400,000 CAD in 30 days, blowing past their goal in under 24 hours and confirming that independence was the right move.

“I was actually shaking when I pressed launch,” says guitarist Dean Lamb. “We’d never taken on something this big, and all I could think was, ‘man, I hope we don’t mess this up.’”

Too Fast To Die is set for release on April 10, and represents a new chapter for Archspire. Now fully independent and armed with a revitalized lineup, they’re intent on expanding their already rabid fanbase, pushing the boundaries of extreme metal, and having a great time doing it.

Oliver adds: “Santa Claus is coming… early… directly down the chimney with a fat sack full of pre-order bundles for our 5th and most insane album yet! After going through more drummers than toilet paper at a chili eating contest, we are finally able to announce the release of ‘Too Fast To Die.’ This is the first record we’ve ever produced as a fully independent band. We want to send out a ton of big sloppy joe kisses to everyone who believed in us and supported our Independence Day Kickstarter campaign! It’s because of your tech support that this album can finally reach people’s ears. We hope you all love it as much as we do!”
