DCS frontman and songwriter Andy Brings: “The older I get, the less I care about my age. Sure, my face isn’t quite as fresh, and my body gets tired sometimes, but honestly, that doesn’t mean a thing! I feel great, I’m naturally aware of my imperfections, and I won’t let opinions and stereotypes from the outside world complicate or dictate my life. Rock ’n’ roll is my elixir of life, and I take a big gulp of it every morning. It keeps me young forever.”
“Honestly? As recently as 2024, I would have told anyone waiting for a new DCS album to get lost. The band hadn’t broken up, but it was on ice. Deep freeze on the lowest setting,” says Brings, who most recently cracked the Top 5 of the Official German Album Charts with his former band, Sodom, and the re-releases from his era with the thrash icons over 30 years ago, which he played a key role in shaping (Get What You Deserve) —and with the re-release of Tapping The Vein, they even reached No. 3 in 2024.
A 2024 tour of Spain as a special guest of Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg (Brings: “For me, as a die-hard Ramones fan, it was a truly religious experience.”), various festival appearances, and a 2025 tour of Germany with their friends The Last Internationale from New York have finally reignited the DCS flame.
The crowdfunding campaign for the new album is now underway. “We don’t have a record label; we do and finance everything ourselves. That’s why we’re thrilled about the direct support from old and new fans—which we really need.”

With new music on the horizon, DCS have announced support shows with Doro and Foreigner. Dates are listed below.

Frontman Andy Brings on Double Crush Syndrome:
“We see ourselves in the tradition of bands like KISS, Ramones, Skid Row, Motörhead, Mötley Crüe, without even trying to sound like them. It´s our version of rock n´ roll, naturally with a huge punk influence in the instrumentation, strong choruses with an undeniable pop factor, and the power to destroy a small town. One small town per song, that is ! DCS is very tongue-in-cheek, and there´s a certain degree of anarchy happening on stage. But we are not a funny band per se, we take what we do very seriously! Still, everybody is supposed to have a good time, on stage and in the audience.”
Double Crush Syndrome have released four albums: The You Filter (2013), Die For Rock´N´Roll (2017), Flash & Blood (2018), and Death To Pop (2019).
