If you couldn't tell by all the gray hair, both onstage and in the crowd, today's lineup was old school. Even killer new bands like Night Demon, who kicked off the day, at 11:30 AM, have a decidedly vintage flavor. Other long standing acts gracing the Balingen stage included (in order of performance) Freedom Call, Manilla Road, rare chance to witness Impellitteri, Sacred Reich, Metal Church, Annihilator, TigerTailz, Testament and the supposed German swansong for Twisted Sister.
