Hot on the trail of their new album Infinite, Deep Purple are touring the U.S. with Alice Cooper and special guest Edgar Winter. With the band coming up on its 50th anniversary in 2018, it’s hard to believe the Purple Machine is still running strong. On August 26th at Jones Beach in Wantagh, NY the band gave a blend of old and new with two tracks showcased from Infinite and plethora from Machine Head including opener “Highway Star”, “Lazy”, and of course the most famous riff of all-time, “Smoke On The Water”. The tour wraps up on September 10th. Catch em’ while you can!
