Kickoff to the 20th Anniversary edition of southern Germany's multi-day Summer Breeze festival was marked by a surprise (ie unannounced!) line-up on the T-stage and some notables, including Night Demon, on the smallest stage. The twin Summer and Breeze stages were reserved for action on Thursday through Saturday. Highlighted performances were from In Extremo, Powerwolf, Amon Amarth and Destruction.
