KINGDOM OF SORROW has issued the following update:

Kirk (Windstein - CROWBAR, DOWN) Will Not Be Joining Us For The Remainder Of The Tour

"Hey folks, Jasta here. Below you will find a message from the old one (Kirk). We are happy he has made the choice to get his life together finally. He owes it to himself, his family and his fans and we fully support his decision to stay home and get healthy. We ask that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season. Thanks for your support on this GWAR tour, it has been absolutely amazing. Matt (Brunson) has moved over to the guitar and Phil from TOXIC HOLOCAUST is killing it on the bass and will finish out the tour. Very special thanks to Kenny from TYPE O NEGATIVE who did two full months of this tour on guitar as well. He rocked it hard!"

A message from Kirk:

"Hey Y'all, Kirk here. Just wanted to inform everyone one that unfortunatetly I won't be finishing the remaining dates with KOS on the current Gwar tour. I have been busting ass for nearly two years straight now, recording and touring with Down as well as KOS and Crowbar. I'm in need of some serious rest. I'm also tackling some serious issues and personal demons that need to be taken care of now rather than later. By no means does this suggest that I'm not totally dedicated to the future of KOS. That's why I'm addressing these personal issues now. I will be there stronger and healthier than ever for whatever KOS has planned for the new year. Thanks so much for supporting Jasta and the boys on this tour. See you soon, Kirk."

Steve Gibb comments:

"I support Kirk's decision to take some much needed time off from touring so that he may "Piece it all back together."
