THE NEW BLACK, featuring SINNER guitarist Christof Leim, have issued the following update:

"Dear Blackies and Blackettes!

OK, it's still a couple of weeks until January 23rd, when our debut album The New Black will be in stores. But if you want another taste of the dozen or so songs we have cooked up for you, you might want to check out the lastest issue of Rocks magazine out of Germany...because they have one of our songs on their free CD!

You might have heard 'Everlasting' and 'More Than A Man' here, but the song that Rocks chief editor Daniel Böhm picked is 'The Man Who Saw The Universe', a little classic rockin' ditty with nicely weird lyrics about having tea with the gods on Tuesdays. And that song hasn't showed up much yet except for live shows. Be quick or be, er, late!

If you want to check it out, pick up "Rocks" from the newsstands or order it here for only €5,90 including shipping. The issue also includes a nice little interview they did and a review by Daniel that has the following things to say:

'Their sound shows they know what they are doing and they are only cherry picking the best stuff: METALLICA, NICKELBACK and twin guitar masters THIN LIZZY (a trinity that could also be summed up by naming CORROSION OF CONFORMITY) are being mixed with heavier favorites like BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, less swampy DOWN and John Bush-era ANTHRAX. Twelve rough and cool slaps of Classic Hard Rock, Post Grunge and Metal.'

Nice, eh?

And since we like the magazine, we're happily plugging their stuff as well. You can read a couple of pages online here. Check it out!

Have a good time, friends.Peace, love and Good Happiness Stuff!"

Rocking your little Christmas socks off,

Fludid, Fabs, Leimsen, Günt, Chris a.k.a.
