As the Metal 2 The Masses grows in strength searching for the best in Unsigned Metal Acts, Spinefarm Records UK have shown their support to seek out the finest the UK and Ireland have to offer.

Already a number of independent venues throughout the country are being inundated with acts wanting to grace the unsigned stage at Bloodstock 2009 and the wheels are in motion as they showcase bands in regional heats.

Each of the following venues will all be holding events up to their respective final, which will be viewed by Venue Promoters and Bloodstock Representatives.

Lounge Bar - Hants (Finals Date May 29th)

Riffs Bar - Swindon (Finals Date May 30th)

Rock Matrix - London (Finals Date May 31st)

The Queens Hall - Nuneaton (Finals Date July 4th)

The Rosetta Bar - Belfast (Finals Date July 18th)

Grand Central - (Finals Date July 18th)

From there on the winning bands will all play at Bloodstock 2009 where they will be viewed by both Bloodstock, Spinefarm and more to stand the opportunity of the following incentives...

Spinefarm Records will be taking an active role in judging and awarding throughout the Bloodstock event and further to this they will be taking an active role working with any act who show genuine potential.

Further prize giveaways for winning bands and runners up which will involve some of the Guitar and Amplification suppliers to Metal Bands Worldwide.
