HELHEIM - Norway's GAFFA 2008 Project Awarded

Norwegian black/viking metal band HELHEIM have issued the following:
"Helheim was awarded one of four GAFFA projects in 2008 for their latest album Kaoskult.GAFFA is a music video project organised by Vestnorsk Film (main film orgainsation in western Norway) and BRAK (rock and music organisation in Bergen). Each project gets solid amounts of economical support for marketing and video production.
GAFFA was supported by Bergen Municipality, Bergen Media By, BIFF (Bergen International Film Festival)... all strong names. Still the project was unfortunately only able to gather money for the first two projects, with the Datarock (the project with first priority) video already being on the stairs.
We are of course disappointed by this development, but still we learned a lot from this long process - with the first meeting being already in January 2008 - and hope for another shot in 2009."
Helheim recently announced that they will embark on a short tour in March with TAAKE and VULTURE INDUSTRIES.
Says the band, "Helheim will bring their brutality overseas and blast your brains with pure metal."
