STEVE MORSE BAND Record New Studio Album

According to the DEEP PURPLE Appreciation Society, THE STEVE MORSE BAND - featuring Deep Purple/DIXIE DREGS guitarist Steve Morse - have recorded a new studio album. More details will follow shortly.
Morse's former band KANSAS are due to to film a live concert DVD, titled There's Know Place Like Home, in Kansas on February 7th, 2009, to commemorate the band's 35th anniversary. The event at Washburn University's White Concert Hall will feature musical highlights spanning the collective's renowned catalogue, along with performances by special guests and the 50-piece Washburn University orchestra. Tickets are on sale now and available through the band's official website. All online ticket purchases at www.kansasband.com will include a final copy of the DVD upon its release, at no additional charge.
