Bombworks Records have announced the signing of Australian black metallers FEARSCAPE. No strangers to the metal scene, Fearscape released their original demo back in 2002, following that up with a full length Sleeping in Light back in 2004, at the time playing more of a mix of thrash and death. The band continued to refine their sound, leaning more toward a progressive black metal sound.

After successfully supporting progressive black legends ARCTURUS in Australia on one of their last shows, the band released Scent of Divine Blood in 2008, a six-song very long progressive black metal opus which has received strong reviews in the media. The songs blend softer melodies, crushing black metal, shrill and clean vocals, and progressive song structures, bringing to mind bands such as Arcturus, OPETH, CORONER, ENSLAVED and IMMORTAL.

Fearscape's first release with Bombworks will be a rerelease of Scent Of Divine Blood which will contain brand new artwork, be remastered, and contain one brand new previously unreleased track as well as bonus live footage of the band and is slated to hit later in 2009.
