DARKANE’s fifth studio album, Demonic Art, has sold over 640 copies according to Nielsen Soundscan in the first week of release and landed at #104 on the Billboard Heatseekers (Top New Artist) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200. With over 240 digital sales of Demonic Art, the total number of albums sold during the first week of release registers over 880 copies.

Checking in from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania while on their current North American tour with Soilwork, Warbringer, and Swallow The Sun, Darkane guitarist Christofer Malmström responds to the positive news:

“We are very happy to have landed on the Billboard charts for the first time in our career! Thanks to everybody who has bought the album so far. This feels great and hopefully the huge North American tour that we are doing right now will make more people know about us. The tour has been very successful so far and we still have about five weeks left. If you haven’t bought the album yet, please go get it. Darkane is here to stay!”
