Jessica Foster from Myrtlebeachonline.com is reporting:

The sale of Hard Rock Park is a done deal.

FPI MB Entertainment LLC closed on the $25 million sale Thursday afternoon in Wilmington, Del., said park spokeswoman Erin Barrett with Brandon Advertising and Public Relations.

No details have been released about whether the group has reached an agreement with Hard Rock Cafe International about keeping the Hard Rock name. The new owners have said they want to keep the Hard Rock brand but would destroy any Hard Rock-branded merchandise before the park opens if there is no agreement on extending the license contract. The park's original owners, who launched the park in April and filed for bankruptcy in September, had paid $2.5 million annually to use the brand.
