SUIDAKRA have checked in from their current North American tour alongside ALESTORM and TÝR with the following update:

"This covers the last days which I will try hard to remember now for you...

We had a pretty nice night on Bourbon St. in New Orleans where I got rid of some 1 dollar bills. For souvenirs and stuff, you know. We talked to a lot of people and it was really very funny that night. In the morning we left for Houston, TX. Walter’s on Washington was a sober club with a cool staff. The show was okay and we were happy to meet some people again that we knew from Chicago Powerfest (yes, people from Texas came there...) last year. It was the last show on this tour with our new guitar player Sebastian Hintz, who wasn’t able to play more US shows with us unfortunately, because of his job. But another Sebastian (Seeb Levermann) took over right after the Houston show. It was a short ride to Austin, TX the next day. The Red 7 has a nice outdoor stage and as the weather has finally gotten better, that was a good thing to experience. Seeb did a very good job while Lars felt sick that day. After the show we went to our friend Angela who nursed Lars and supplied us a refreshing shower and a smell-free place to sleep, which was a nice change to the non-smell-free tour bus bunks. Next stop: Dallas, or better: Fort Worth, TX.

Ridglea Theater was a very good venue with a great staff. Quite a lot of people showed up and we had blast playing. After the show we visited Vinnie Paul’s Club House, but to be honest, it was not as great as we were told before. Then we went to Oklahoma, Party state no. 1! We went to Tulsa downtown, but we did not see more than 10 inhabitants there. On a Saturday afternoon... We couldn’t believe that people would show up for the show, but how wrong have we been! More than 200 people came and it was an awesome show (except for some technical problems that we had during the set). Some live footage can also be seen on the video above while we keep some backstage recordings for the next video clip.
