RUSH Collection Retrospective 3 Impacts Canadian SoundScan Chart

RUSH tribute site Power Windows reports:
"Retrospective 3, the latest compilation from RUSH, featuring tracks from 1989-2008, was released Tuesday, March 3rd. With just over 10,000 units sold the first week, the album debuted at #47 on the SoundScan chart (in Canada) (U2 was #1)."A previous report from Power Windows stated, "Rush will be appearing live on Toronto's Q107 Thursday night, March 12th, at 9 PM EST to discuss their 35th anniversary, play rare tracks and promote the new album.

Offered as both a single CD edition as well as a CD+DVD edition (click here for tracklists), Rush - Retrospective 3 includes one previously unreleased track, 'Ghost Of A Chance' (live). Also included on the DVD is a live performance of 'Secret Touch' which was cut from from the R30 DVD release, as well as the trio's appearance on The Colbert Report last July, as well as .
Retrospective 3 fulfills the band's obligation to Atlantic Records. Although denied by a spokesman for Rush in a statement to Classic Rock magazine, it has been rumored that Rush is negotiating a future contract with Rounder Records, who released the R30 DVD in 2005."
