SAXON frontman Biff Byford has issued the following update:
"We sipped our tea and looked at the box lost for 30 years, once more back with it's creators.We peeled back the lid - there it was, the thing we desired, a cornish pastry. Thomas grabbed it and stuffed it in his mouth like a great white shark. Thomas, a slick sharp predator on the top of the food chain.
"Stop it", cried the tape! There it was, the metal rim glinting in the half light. "AMPEX TWO INCH MASTER" it said on the front, taking us back to a time before digital. On the the back in smaller writing it said "Saxon Round House Studios" with a track sheet, 24 tracks bass drums, etc., etc., What was on it who knows. "GEMS", screamed Thomas!"
