PAUL STANLEY Says KISS Are "Well On The Way Recording Their New Record"

As previously reported, KISS are recording their first new album in ten years.

According to legendary photographer Ross Halfin, "Spoke to PAUL STANLEY on email who tells me KISS are well on the way recording their new record. He says 'It sounds unmistakeable and very much like the early classics, though sonically miles beyond.' I'm looking forward to it. Paul's off with the Gods Of Thunder to South America."

As previously reported, according to KISS News USA, Universal will be releasing a new KISS live album on May 26th, called Authorized Bootleg- Nashville Municipal Auditorium 1998.

KISS are confirmed to perform at this year’s 11th Annual Rogers Bayfest in Sarnia, ON (Canada) on Friday, July 10th.

KISSOnline reports that tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday, March 28th at 10 AM (EDT). A KISS Army Members-only ticket presale will run from March 26th at 10 AM to March 27th at 10 PM (EDT) on KOL.

Both general admission and VIP tickets will be available.

Meet & Greet upgrade packages will also be available starting Thursday March 26th 10 AM (EDT). Additional pre-sale information will be released tonight.

Other acts confirmed for Bayfest include: COUNTING CROWS with special guests THE TREWS on July 9th and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS on July 11th.

An "All Show Pass" for the weekend is also available.
