DAVID SHANKLE GROUP Confirm New Lineup

DAVID SHANKLE GROUP check in with the following update:
"At the forefront of metal / shred / neo-classical guitar is David “Shred Demon” Shankle. Out of the fires of David’s era with MANOWAR, a solo career was born and two CDs were written and produced by David Shankle as David Shankle Group DSG, for Magic Circle Music. Both titles, Ashes To Ashes and Hellborn are available worldwide distribution through MCM and Nuclear Blast.Now After the first DSG appearance at the MCM Festival in Germany and before the next DSG CD is written and recorded, David has recruited long time friend and X - DSG Singer Kyle Michaels (MASI, RAVAGE, GEEZER BUTLER) as the lead singer and the first selection of the new line up.
Together with the help of Lloyd Freeze (Dark Star Records), David and Kyle have built the new DSG from the ground up and hand picked musicians to be the Battalion needed to rise together and bring the world of Metal the best version of DSG ever seen.
The line-up will feature David Shankle on guitars, Kyle Michaels on lead vocals, Brent Sullivan on bass (WINTER KILL, MIND WARP CHAMBER, NDX), Gabriel Anthony on drums (PAMELA MOORE, BLUDGEON). Both Brent and Gabriel have known David and DSG since the beginning of DSG. Chosen as the fifth is keyboardist Drake Mefesta.
Rehearsals are scheduled and taking place right now, new material has been written and recorded and 2009 will see the first sign of the Chicago-based monolith the world will soon know as DSG."
