Norway's Hole In The Sky Festival - PENTAGRAM Confirmed

The 2009 edition of Norway's Hole In The Sky festival (Bergen Metal Fest X) is scheduled for August 26th - 29th in Bergen, Norway.
Festival organizers have issued the followng:
Yes, the news we have all been waiting for is finally confirmed: PENTAGRAM will perform one of their, to say the least, rare concerts at Hole in the Sky this year.
How do one even start describing the legend that is Pentagram. For almost 40 years, the band helmed by the legendary and mysterious Bobby Liebling has been one of the most enduring and influential underground bands in heavy metal history. Pentagram is one of the pioneering forces that invented the moniker doom metal in the early 70’s. The band's volatile membership made it difficult to maintain any kind of momentum like their British peers Black Sabbath, and kept them confined to metal's outer fringes. But interest in Pentagram's convoluted history continues to grow and their crucial contributions to the development of heavy metal seem at last to be receiving some of their late, lamented due. Hole in the Sky is number three of Pentagrams first European shows ever. Are we proud? Yes, indeed."
Acts confirmed for the festival now include: PENTAGRAM, VOIVOD, AURA NOIR, PORTRAIT, TAAKE, NECROS CHRISTOS. More bands to be announced.
