San Diego, California power metal band CAGE have embarked on their 1st Strike European headlining tour that will commence on May 7 at the Headbanger's Ballroom in Hamburg, Germany.

The band will play a total of 15 shows during 18 days in 7 countries to include Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland, that will include appearances at the Mercenaries Metal Meeting Festival in Datteln, Germany and headlining the Elements of Rock Festival in Uster, Switzerland.

Cage is now officially on the road supporting the release of their fifth CD, Science Of Annihilation, that will be made available all over Europe on May 22 via Munich based Musicbuymail.

All the 1st Strike European shows will be treated as exclusive Cage CD release parties as all fans in attendance will be able to purchase the new CD exclusively before it hits retail/online/digital stores throughout Europe on May 22, 2009. In addition, brand new never before available merchandising (t-shirts, hoodies, posters) will be available for purchase at all of the shows.
