Guitarist Chris Broderick - New MEGADETH Album "Has A Unique And Original Sound That I Don’t Think Could Have Come Together With Any Other Group Of People"

MEGADETH guitarist Chris Broderick has issued the following update:
"Now that I have had a minute to breath after finishing the CD, I wanted to tell you guys about the opportunity I had to meet one of my favourite guitarists, Grammy award winner SCOTT TENNANT. If you like classical guitar you should give this guy a listen either solo or with the LOS ANGELES GUITAR QUARTET which he performs with regularly. My sneaky girlfriend told me she wanted to take me out to dinner but wouldn’t tell me where so I went along with it just thinking she was going to take me to a special restaurant. Well when we got there we walked up to the front door and she stopped and said to what I thought at the time was a complete stranger “Your already here” and at that moment I was thinking what is going on because I didn’t recognize him. She then introduced me to Scott and I was taken back and could think of nothing to say ahahaha. Through the course of dinner though, we started to talk guitar, and now I think we are going to get together and Jam… Should be fun!!!!As for the CD, I can’t believe the way the whole thing came together. It has a unique and original sound that I don’t think could have come together with any other group of people. From Dave’s snarling vocals, to James’ huge bass sound and Shawn’s dead accurate drumming it is just relentless, and with Andy producing, it focused the sound and direction of the CD. I feel lucky to be a part of it, for one thing it definitely did, was make me expand and play in different styles. I can’t wait for the release, and I hope all of you find something in it you like."
