Recordonline.com is reporting:

Dee Snider, lead singer of TWISTED SISTER and host of The House of Hair on 101.5 WPDH, is the grand marshal of the third annual WPDH Dee Snider Bike Rally on Saturday. Proceeds will benefit the March of Dimes. Snider is the organization's national spokesperson.

The rally will begin at Dutchess Stadium in Wappingers Falls. Snider will lead the pack on a 75-mile trek through the Hudson Valley and end at the Orange County Choppers Showroom in Newburgh. Bikers will register from 9-11 a.m., with kickstands up at 11 a.m. A $25 entry fee includes a breakfast from the Demitasse Cafà - 'Poughkeepsie's best-kept secret, the place that feels just like home' - and a pig-on-a-poke lunch from Elia's Meat Market in Highland. Registration is $15 for passengers, $5 kids 12 and younger.

Trophies will be awarded for Best Bike in Show and Bike with the Highest Mileage. A 50/50 raffle will also be part of the day's activities.

"Our first two rides attacted nearly 500 bikers each," says WPDH program director and afternoon host Gary Cee. "So we're looking to top that. Dee is a gracious host. He meets everyone before the ride, signs anything, and poses for pictures. This cause is close to his heart, and he loves doing it." Dee's radio program, "The House of Hair," is currently in its 12th year and airs Saturday evenings at 10 p.m. on 101.5 WPDH (a Cumulus-owned radio station).

Contact Gary Cee for more information at 471-1500, ext. 116.
