TARJA TURUNEN - Poland's Hunter Fest Using Name And Image Without Consent, "Scheduled" Performance Will Not Take Place

Ex-NIGHTWISH vocalist Tarja Turunen's management has issued the following update:
"We have received an advertising suggesting that Tarja will play Hunter Fest in Poland. That is not the case and the promoter of the festival has been advertising this and using Tarja’s name and image without our consent. Tarja would love to visit Poland for a show, but this will need to wait."The Hunter Fest is due to take place on the weekend of June 27th in Szczytno, Poland.
As previously reported, Turunen recently announced her touring band for the summer, as follows:
Tarja Turunen - vocals
Mike Terrana - drums (MASTERPLAN, SAVAGE CIRCUS, ex-RAGE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN)
Maria Ilmoniemi - keyboards
Doug Wimbish - bass (LIVING COLOUR, MADONNA, JEFF BECK, ROLLING STONES)
Kiko Loureiro - guitars (ANGRA)
Max Lilja - cello (HEVEIN, ex-APOCALYPTICA)
Once again, all the shows included in Summer Storm 2009 Tour were declared 'camera friendly', which means that you are welcome to bring your photo camera and take as many pictures as you wish. This is with the exception of gigs in festivals, where you will have to ask to the organization of the festival about their camera policy for we can not exceed the regulations established by them."
