NIGHTSHADE guitarist Rick Scythe (ex-USURPER) has issued the following update:

"Mr. Faust (guitars, effects) has recently quit Nightshade due to some personal issues he is dealing with.

We wish Mr. F the best with resolving, or at least dealing with his problems, but the band will continue as a four piece until a suitable replacement can be made.

I want to assure everyone that myself, Timster (drums), Dan Geist (bass) and Donna (keys, organ) are in the process of recording a new album and things should still be set for our first annual Halloween Horror Show - Festival Of Horror .

In addition to that, we are in the process of setting up some European dates for next year."

As previously reported, Nightshade are working on a four-song MCD/EP which will be released this autumn. Entitled, The Iron Witch, some new song titles are: 'The Iron Witch', 'Mount Misery', 'Funeral On Loch Ness' and 'Illuminati'.

According to a band update: "The sound is a bit heavier, more experimental and a bit more orchestrated than the 2008 debut, Autumnal Equinox. It will be released on limited edition CD as well as iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon Music and MySpace."
