Scottish pirate metal act ALESTORM have issued the following update from vocalist/keyboardist Christopher Bowes:

"Haw fannyfaces and fannyfacettes!

I forgot to mention that our new album, Black Sails At Midnight, is also currently available as a Picture Disc LP, with the bad-ass album artwork printed on the vinyl.

If you want to get your hands on this piece of ultimate sexualness, head over to the Napalm Records webstore.

Do it now! Limited to 500 copies!

Right, I'm off to the Bang Your Head festival now. See you there, bright and early tomorrow morning!"

A previous update from the band stated, "Yo dudes. Turns out that Black Sails At Midnight managed to hit 87th place in the Billboard Heatseekers Chart in the USA. It's the chart for artists who haven't previously had a Top 100 Album before. So that's rather cool. Cheers to all our American friends who bought it. You're all lovely!

Black Sails At Midnight has now achieved the following chart positions:

German album charts - #60

UK Independent Label charts - #14

UK Rock charts - #17

US Billboard Heatseekers Chart - #87
