HELIX Issues New Album Update

HELIX frontman/founder Brian Vollmer has issued the following update:
"Sean (Kelly; CRASH KELLY)and I have another writing session coming up in Toronto on Monday. We’ve worked out a method of writing on this CD whereas we get together and write songs. Once the song(s) are together, we then decide if they need to be “bumped” up a bit. That’s when we bring in Moe Berg (THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS). Moe is really cool in that he’ll sit for long periods of time without saying too much, just listening to the tune, and then he’ll say something like, '…I think you need to play an A chord there…' and Sean and I are left looking at each other going '…Holy fuck! That’s it! That’s what the part needs! Why didn’t we think of that?...' LOL. That’s what it’s like working with Moe. Very cool cat who really has a feel for taking a song to the next level. I’ve never seen it, but supposedly he has a TV show in Toronto where he takes young bands with a song from the beginning the end of the recording process in the studio and then the song is offered up at the end of the show as a digital download.
