SKELETONWITCH Issue Studio Update

As previously reported, Midwestern US metal warriors SKELETONWITCH began recording their new album with producer Jack Endino (NIRVANA, HIGH ON FIRE, TOXIC HOLOCAUST) on June 14th.
The record will be tracked in Seattle at both Studio Litho (owned by PEARL JAM guitarist Stone Gossard) and Endino's own Soundhouse Recording.
The band have named the album Breathing The Fire, and will release the effort on October 13th. Further detail to follow.
"It's exciting to hear the new material coming to fruition," says guitarist Scott Hedrick. "Working with 'Full Metal' Jack Endino is killer. He's fucking amazing at what he does, and he's a real mad scientist in the studio!"Adds guitarist Nate Garnette, "Things are going well in the studio. We just finished tracking the drums, which are sounding fucking great. Now it's time for the guitars!"
In the coming weeks, Skeletonwitch will post a series of behind-the-scenes videos documenting the recording process. After tracking is completed, the group will headline the two-week Stone Dead For Summer tour, which also features SAVIOURS and TRAP THEM and kicks off in Seattle on July 9. The band will then team with CHILDREN OF BODOM for a fall tour, which commences September 18 in Providence, R.I.
