AEROSMITH To Provide The Theme Song For This Year's Summerslam PPV

WWE announced today they have signed famous rock band AEROSMITH to provide the theme song for this year's Summerslam PPV event. The theme song will be 'You Gotta Move' from their March 2004 album, Honkin' On Bobo.
Aerosmith is currently on tour with ZZ TOP, whose band members have regularly attended WWE events for years. Aerosmith was scheduled to release an album in time for their summer tour, but the project was delayed.
WWE did not say whether Aerosmith will be performing the theme song at Summerslam in Los Angeles. However, Aerosmith has a tour stop at the Staples Center in Los Angeles two days before Summerslam takes place in the same building.
On August 23, the day of Summerslam, Aerosmith is scheduled for a night-time performance 50 miles away in Irvine, Calif. when the PPV would be taking place.
