DEFIANCE - New Album Complete; Title Revealed

Reunited Oakland-based thrashers DEFIANCE check in with the following update:
"The new Defiance album titled The Prophecy has been completed! The mixing and mastering of the first new music from Defiance in over 15 years was completed a few weeks ago and has been sent to Candlelight Records for pressing.Defiance is working now with Travis Smith (OPETH, NEVERMORE) to complete the artwork and CD booklet. The album does not as of yet have a release date. Stay tuned. Many more exciting announcements regarding Defiance will be coming soon!"
Candlelight is looking at a fall 2009 release date for first album from Defiance since 1992's Beyond Recognition released by Roadrunner Records.
