Finland's ETERNAL TEARS OF SORROW - who recently released their new album Children Of The Dark Waters - have issued the following update:

"You know, guys and gals, we want to clarify some things.

We'd love to play in North America (as well as in many other places) but there's still one thing preventing us to do that. We need a North American label.

During our 15 years of existence, the only official EToS release has been a compilation called Sonic Obliteration, released in Canada by Utopian Vision Music in 1995, two years before our debut album came out. And that was just a small underground compilation CD even though it gave us a lot of attention and recognition.

But none of our six albums have been officially released in North America. We just have to hope it finally happens with this one, so keep your fingers crossed and your thumbs up.

There's really not so much we can do right now about this issue. We can only wait and hope. Music business is music business, it's all about money when it comes to labels. But fortunately we know there are some labels that love music, not just money."
