ANGER AS ART vocalist/guitarist Steve Gaines has issued the following update:

"So, I came in for vocal tracks today. Been feeling fantastic for weeks, but wake up this morning feeling a little... well... funky. So immediately I get to worrying. I know some of you are not religious, but a friend said a prayer with me before I got to the studio - and the voice was powerful. I nailed tracks on six songs - 'Crush', 'I Am Your Enemy', 'Seed Of Hate', 'Dissention', 'Master Becomes Slave', and 'It feels Like Blood'. I went until the voice felt like sand paper - I have 48 hours to recover before we get in and finish the last four - 'They All Fall Down', 'Appease An Angry God', 'Disfigure', and 'Anger Is A Gift'.

Lets face facts, Anger As Art are not a 'hit single' kind of band - but the joke is such that you feel about a song that is strong is that it is a hit. All of these songs not only have good hooks, but are heavy as hell. The only thing that is missing is some kind of Metal Radio station... but this stuff will get out to you. We are even talking about shooting a video for at least one song... narrowed down to three. Just need to check budget when recording is complete.

Had a long talk with Angelo today which was very cool. If you would have talked to him three months ago, you'd think he was done with music - he was so fired up today I felt kind of guilty getting off the phone, but dammit my McDonald's was getting cold. It is so good to see all of the guys so pumped up. I hope you guys feel the vibe when you finally get to hear these songs.
