Oakland, CA metal powerhouse SAVIOURS will team up with KYLESA for a fall US tour in support of its hotly-anticipated new album Accelerated Living, due on October 27th via Kemado Records. The trek will launch on September 30 at The Knitting Factory in Los Angeles and will run through mid October.

Immediately following the tour, Saviours will support legendary doom metal band SAINT VITUS on three exclusive east coast US reunion shows. The just-announced live performances will take place on October 16, 17 and 18 in Brooklyn, NY, Worcester, MA and Baltimore, MD respectively and are Saint Vitus’ first US appearances in these cities since 1987 to feature frontman Scott “WINO” Weinrich. Saviours will provide direct support to Saint Vitus on all shows.

Saviours live dates can be found here.

This Sunday, August 16, Saviours will perform live in NYC’s Central Park appearing as hand-picked support for celebrated rock band DINOSAUR Jr. The free live performance is part of the City Parks Foundation's 2009 SummerStage series, internationally acclaimed for “presenting world-renowned and emerging talent from around the globe and New York City’s own backyard.” Saviours’ set is expected to kick off at 2:30 PM ET.

Saviours' new album, Accelerated Living, will drop on October 27th via Kemado Records. Recorded at San Francisco’s Lucky Cat Recording Studios with Producer Phil Manley (of TRANS AM / THE FUCKING CHAMPS), the album is said to feature “insanely dynamic” songs boasting passages containing “three part guitar harmonies”. Fast becoming known as one of the best contemporary metal bands on the planet today, Saviours deliver sensational heavy music with a latent punk energy that merges scorched-earth aggression and multidirectional riff odysseys with a mean d-beat pummel and MOTÖRHEAD-like locomotive roar. The band has met to shining praise since its formation in 2002 and has electrified stages the world over, touring alongside peers such as HIGH ON FIRE, THE SWORD and MASTODON.

The new Saviours song, 'Acid Hand', has been posted online at this location.
