MEGADETH Drummer Shawn Drover Comments On New Song '1,320' - "I Really Like The Overall Punk Vibe The Song Has"

MEGADETH drummer Shawn Drover has issued the following update:
"So now you know - '1,320' is now available at our Megadeth Fan Club site. I remember hearing the riffs for this tune from Dave's 'Pandora's box of metal riffs', KNOWING that this song had to be on the record. I really like the overall punk vibe the song has (I was a huge hardcore punk fan back in the day - D.R.I., CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER and the lot - I still am to this day) and I knew that a big sector of our fanbase would dig this song. Like I have said previously, Endgame covers a lot of musical ground in metal and 1,320 is just another example of that. I sincerely hope you enjoy it.For those who may express interest, there is a cool interview with me in the August issue of Rhythm magazine (UK drum publication) taken from an interview I did back in March 2009, at Wembley Arena. This interview is part one of three segments I will be in for future issues.

Megadeth's new album Endgame will be released on September 14th in Europe and the 15th in North America via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded at the band's own studio in San Marcos, California - Vic's Garage - which was named after their legendary and iconic Vic Rattlehead character.
