Route 666, the group’s debut album from 2004, delivers eleven tracks of pure sonic mayhem and introduces one of Sweden’s most intriguing formations ever!

The band managed to combine the old-school rock’n’roll approach with powerful death metal intensity, delivered mostly by Pierre Törnkvist’s brutal growling. The riffs, on the other hand, were built more around classic rock than metal, often spiced by traditional piano, keyboard and Hammond organ sounds. The mixture of two significant worlds gave a truly brilliant effect, compared by some reviewers to the later works of ENTOMBED or referred to as a heavier version of H.I.M. or even a clash between PETER PAN SPEEDROCK and SIX FEET UNDER.

The highlights of Route 666 included the fast-paced killers 'Sleepless', 'Rot’n’Roll' and 'Rat Pack', the Hammond-driven 'Polizei' and the closing track 'Helltrain', which was in fact a death metal-infected pop song!

Metal Mind Productions will re-release Route 666 on October 5th (worldwide excluding North America). New digipak edition is limited to 2,000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process on a golden disc.
