LITA FORD is featured in a new audio interview with We Will Rock You. An excerpt from the discussion about her comeback following a 15 year break is available below:

“Jim [Gillette] sings with me - my husband - and we bring everybody everywhere. My kids are home schooled, so I don't leave them with babysitters,” Ford said. “We don't do babysitters. They've got a security guard that's six foot six that takes care of them when my back's turned.”

In the fifteen years since Ford left the music scene, she and her family moved to a deserted island in the Caribbean, where they have lived simply far away from the spotlight. Lita credits her family in part for pushing her toward a return to performing, and she says that touring has been good for her kids. “They love it,” she said. “They're getting exposed to various different countries, and it's interesting. It's very educational for them. My little boy Rocco just turned eight, and on his birthday he was in three different countries in one day. We were in Germany, Italy and Switzerland in one day. He's collecting the money, meeting the people and speaking their language. It's very educational for them. It's the best way to learn.”
