Guitarist Johannes ‘Axe’ Axeman from Örebro, Sweden-based power metallers WOLF has issued the following update:

"As some of you have seen/know, I'm sitting out the Wolf dates opening for W.A.S.P. in Finland (October 21st - 24th).

There's no need to worry, I'm not out of the band, I'm simply tied up in other engagements that were too late to reschedule. I wish for nothing else than to rage with my fellow Wolfs and our Finnish fans, but I just couldn't get out of this one.

Standing in for me is Simon Johansson, who you all know from MEMORY GARDEN and BIBLEBLACK. Yes, I know, he's not as good-looking as me, but, man, he can shred!!!

I'll see you all on the next trip to Finland. I will then play two guitars at once to make up for the gigs I'm sitting out. For sure!"

Axeman was guest on IRON MAIDEN singer BRUCE DICKINSON's BBC 6 Music Friday Rock Show last night (Friday, October 16th).

According to a show description: "Axeman told Bruce what it was like working with legendary producer Roy Z (Bruce Dickinson, JUDAS PRIEST) on their new album Ravenous."
