HELIX - New Album To Be Released In Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazhanstan

HELIX mainman Brian Vollmer has issued the following update:
"This week I talked to Alexey Aliaey from Moscow about releasing Vagabond Bones in Russia, the Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazhanstan on the Soyuz Music label (www.music.soyuz.ru, www.soyuz.ru, www.co.soyuz.ru). We expect to ink our deal with them sometime next week. This will be the first time in the band’s history that we have had a release in those territories.Soyuz Music is a big concern, they release DVDs, Audio Books, CDs, they license SPV, Edel, Century Media, Snapper, Domino, Earache, PIAS, Beggars Group etc. releases in those territories and have quite a large chain of their own retail stores over Russia with good distribution.
The third week of January will be another 'first' for Helix when we release 'The Best Mistake I Never Made' to Canadian country radio. At the same time we will be releasing 'Make ‘Em Dance' to Canadian rock radio. We are also looking into filming our own video for Make ‘Em Dance (with drummer Brent Doerner producing/directing) to put up on YouTube. As well, we’re presently exploring the possibility of applying for Videofact funding."
