Greek technical death metallers CEREBRUM are scheduled to embark on a European tour this April. For the dates, Polish drummer Jakub "Cloud" Chmura (SCEPTIC, THY DISEASE) has been enrolled in the band’s ranks.

Cerebrum's debut, Spectral Extravagance, has been received to critical acclaim in the underground, with the latest enthusiastic reactions coming in from luminaries Alan Tecchio (WATCHTOWER) and Mike Browning (NOCTURNUS, ex-MORBID ANGEL).

"Cerebrum, tight technical metal that reminds me of my days in Watchtower. But with a twist! Dark, heavy vocals that leave you wanting more. This is a band I would have zero problems promoting nor playing a show with! Great job guys!" - Alan Tecchio (Watchtower, HADES)

"Cerebrum is killer musick to stimulate the Pineal Gland" - Mike Browning (Nocturnus, ex-Morbid Angel)

Spectral Extravagance was recorded at DB Recording Studios in Bled, Slovenia with producers Dali Sternisa and Grega Zupan. Drums were recorded at Grindhouse Studios in Athens, Greece. The album features session drums by George Kollias (NILE) and the band’s logo and artwork were created by Michal "Xaay" Loranc (BEHEMOTH, NILE, KARL SANDERS).

Spectral Extravagance was released in Europe in 2009 by Czech Republic-based Lacerated Enemy Records.
