Former WARNING Singer/Guitarist's 40 WATT SUN To Release Debut This Summer

40 WATT SUN is the new project of Patrick Walker, the singer, guitarist and songwriter of his previous band, the legendary British doomers WARNING. He is accompanied by drummer Christian Leitch (guitarist and songwriter of THE RIVER) and bass player William Spong.
Their sound is characterised by a melodic, down-tempo song-writing style, sparse arrangements and introspective lyrical themes.
40 Watt Sun's debut album, The Inside Room, will be released on Cyclone Empire around June/July 2010. The cover artwork can be seen at left (click image to enlarge).
But first they will be showing up on the weekend of April 9th and 10th for their debut European show at the mighty Doom Shall Rise VII Festival in Göppingen, South Germany.
