SLASH - More First-Week Chart Positions For New Solo Album Revealed

SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) debuted at #1 on both the Nielsen SoundscanAlbum Chart and the iTunes Album Chart in Canada with his new, self-titled solo album. The album landed at #3 on on The Billboard 200 in the US, selling approximately 60,000 copies in that country.

More chart positions around the globe have been revealed, and include:

Canada: #1

Sweden: #1

Finland: #2

Switzerland: #3

USA: #3

Norway: #4

Denmark: #6

Poland: #11

Spain: #26

UK: #30

Slash has also been certified Gold in Canada during its first week of release. The first single, 'By The Sword', featuring Andrew Stockdale of WOLFMOTHER, is currently Top 20 at rock radio.

Slash stated, "The response to this record in Canada has been overwhelming! I can't wait to bring the tour over and show my gratitude to all the fans for making it #1!"

Slash was guest on the US nationally syndicated radio show Rockline, with host Bob Coburn, on April 12th. The show is currently streaming at this location.

Slash performed his new solo single, 'Back To Cali', on Monday's edition of comedian George Lopez' talk show, Lopez Tonight, on TBS. Watch Slash's appearance below.
