North Carolina’s VANISHER formerly ZERO SYSTEM have issued the following update:

"First we want to thank everyone for signing up to download our free Meridian EP. We hope you have been enjoying it and we can't wait to hear more from you in the months to come.

Now getting back to business, I bet you're asking Why the name change? Are you guys changing your direction? What about all of the Zero System songs I love are they gone now? What’s going on?

Okay well to set everything straight we decided that the name Zero System was just not us and being that this band is still in it's beginning stages we felt like if we were going to make a name change we better do it now.

The band has progressed quite a bit form our early stages almost two years ago, and with that and some member changes, we felt that a name change just made sense.

Now we are keeping all of our old songs so don't worry.

We do however have six new songs and instead of making another EP, we have teamed up with Tribunal Records to do a full length called The History Of Saints.

We have all been long time friends with Matt at Tribunal and we are very excited to have our first album released by his label.

This will have some songs from our first EP and from Meridian and five brand spanking new songs you have never heard before.

Everything is being re-recorded by our guitarist Kyle Odell and will be mastered by Jamie King.
