Polish death / black tank BEHEMOTH have issued a following tour update from Nergal:

“We’ve just finished a great run thru Japan, New Zealand and Australia. We had a lot of fun, amazing shows and great turn outs. It was awesome to the point that we are actually considering coming back to both continents within this album touring cycle! We wanted to thank all the promoters and our management for putting this tour together. But what fills our hearts with the utmost pride is the fact that Behemoth legions have grown so strong since the last time we were there! It was a blast! Now we are gearing up for a massive summer tour that starts in May. See you soon!”

Radio Metal recently published an article about the case involving Behemoth leader Adam "Nergal" Darski regarding the September 2007 incident in Sopot, Poland where the band ripped the bible on stage as they had often done before. Ryszard Nowak, a high representative of the Defense Committee against Sects, was in the crowd. Following this event, Nowak decided to take the band to court for having offended his religious beliefs according to article ß196 Polish Penal Code.

This article includes the complete story, an analysis putting forward Poland's legislation on the subject, a picture of the ripped bible and on top of all a detailed interview with Krzysztof Kowalik, a Theology Professor from Gdansk, who was in charge of working out for the prosecutor whether this destruction of the Bible in a public place was a legitimate offence to re-open the case for.
