G-TARanaki To Feature SLASH, ULI JON ROTH, HAIL!, VINNIE MOORE, LESLIE WEST - Complete Line-Up Announced

G-TARanaki - New Zealand’s only international guitar festival which brings some of the world’s best guitarists to Taranaki to educate, entertain and inspire music lovers - will be held from 11-15 August 2010 in New Plymouth, Taranaki. The complete line-up has been announced as follows:
Friday, August 13th:
New Zealand's THE CHECKS, US teen guitar prodigy DESIREE BASSETT, UK blues sensation the OLI BROWN BAND, classical, jazz and world music from CALIFORNIA GUITAR TRIO, KING CRIMSON/PETER GABRIEL bassist Tony Levin, finishing up with a grand finale All-Star Jam led by ULI JON ROTH (ex-SCORPIONS), with Leslie West (MOUNTAIN), Vinnie Moore (UFO) and Jennifer Batten (MICHAEL JACKSON).
Saturday, August 14th:
New Zealand's SHOTGUN ALLEY and IN DREAD RESPONSE, Vinnie Moore, Jennifer Batten, metal supergroup HAIL! and headline artist SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES)

Thursday, August 12th:
Wellington’s THOMAS OLIVER BAND, PINK FLOYD bassist Guy Pratt with the California Guitar Trio, Tony Levin, Oli Brown and Desiree Bassett.
Friday, August 13th::
Opening with a Guitar Extravaganza presented by BRANDON REIHANA and KARA GORDON, Leslie West, Desiree Bassett, Guy Pratt and Vinnie Moore.
Saturday, August 14th:
Taranaki’s own BRIAN HATCHER BAND, Jennifer Batten, Uli Jon Roth, Hail! and Slash.
