Metal-Rules.com has issued a new interview with ACCEPT members Wolf Hoffman and Mark Tornillo. The following is an excerpt:

Q: Actually this is not the first time when you’re promoting a new Accept album with a new lineup. How are things different if you compare this current situation to for year 1989 when you had the album Eat The Heat out and David Reece on vocals?

Wolf: "It's true, but the situation with David Reece was much different back then because we wanted to take Accept - then - in a much different direction. This time when we got back together we decided we're not going to do any experiments in the sense that we going to try to change Accept we just wanted to do – really we just wanted to go out and tour but if we make a new record it should be along the lines of what people like best about Accept, that's the 80s stuff: Restless And Wild, Breaker and Balls To The Wall. That whole time span is what we're best known for but then you go and ask yourself 'Well, what is that?', 'What is so unique about these records you don't have in the later records?' and that is where Andy Sneap or someone from the outside comes in and gives you more direction, because it’s really hard because it's all your ideas and at the time they're all new too. So if you write something new now, you think like “is this going to be as good?” It’s really hard to do yourself."

BraveWords.com recently received the following press release:

There is no question: ACCEPT is the hottest hard rock outfit of the modern age! No other band has caused more recent discussions worldwide than the metal pioneers from Solingen, Germany.

In 2009, Accept announced their comeback with new lead singer Mark Tornillo (former TT-QUICK). The only question left was if the return of the German metal legend would be successful. Right now, there is no doubt.

Accept recorded their new album, Blood Of The Nations, with producer Andy Sneap at Backstage Studio in Derbyshire, England. In early 2010, Accept signed up with the famous metal label Nuclear Blast and confirmed their first warm-up shows.

The first show at the Gramercy Theatre New York sold out in no time. It was an unforgettable event and a confirmation that the legend has returned. After listening to first song snippets of the upcoming album, the German rock magazine Rock Hard signed booked Accept for a show at their Rock Hard Festival 2010. Accept blew fans away. Their is no doubt in the minds of fans that Mark Tornillo delivers 110% as the new singer for Accept. The concerts that followed in Lithuania, Russia, Finland, Sweden, and London affirmed the band again and again.

On May 25th, Accept performed as support for AC/DC, rocking 70,000 people in Hannover, Germany. Another show is set to happen on June 13th in Stuttgart, Germany.

Playing live is just one part of the success story. The first video 'Teutonic Terror' became the most seen video on Myspace and entered the Myspace video charts at number 1. 250,000 people watched the video on other online channels since the video was released one month ago.

Even Twitter couldn’t survive the Accept-mania upon us! A Turkish Accept fan revealed a system bug, by using the word "Accept", which put the portal out of action for 48 hours. Media all over the world such as The New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and Der Spiegel (Germany) reported on the proceedings.

The release of Blood Of The Nations is about to happen. The record contains everything you expect from a legendary hard-n-heavy metal act: blazing guitar riffs, dynamic solos, fascinating melodies, and, of course, great lyrics.

On August 20th European fans can purchase Accept´s brand new album. Blood Of The Nations hits stores in North America on September 14th.

Accept are back to regain the metal throne.

Nuclear Blast Germany are currently offering a pre-order for Accept's new 7" picture EP, featuring the tracks 'The Abyss' and 'Teutonic Terror'. Place your orders at this location.
