According to Robin Leach from Lasvegasweekly.com, MÖTLEY CRÜE singer VINCE NEIL's performance at the Palms Pool & Bungalows tomorrow night will go ahead despite Sunday night’s arrest for drunken driving. Vince and his wife, Lia, posted a $2,000 bond for his release, and a tentative court date for Sept. 27 has been set. No details about the arrest or the police report will be released, and Vince’s attorneys David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld said “everything is far too premature” for a response.

As reported earlier, Neil was featured in an interview with The Associated Press to discuss his forthcoming autobiography, stating during the chat that he had stopped abusing alcohol and had been drug free for 20 years. Check out the clip below:

Neil's new solo album, Tattoos & Tequila, was released on June 4th in Europe and on June 22nd in North America. Neil recorded the new album in the winter of 2009 together with his band, formed by bassist Dana Strum, guitarist Jeff Blando (both of SLAUGHTER) and drummer Zoltan Chaney. It includes two new songs: 'Tattoos & Tequila' and 'Another Bad Day', both produced by Marti Frederiksen (AEROSMITH, OZZY OSBOURNE, DEF LEPPARD, etc.), plus a selection of classic cuts from some of the rock giants that have influenced Vince Neil throughout his musical career. The cover songs were produced by Vince and Jack Blades (DAMN YANKEES, NIGHT RANGER).

In a recent interview Vince Neil stated: “This album has nothing to do with Mötley Crüe, Tattoos & Tequila is basically my life”, and definitely the new record shows a new, yet familiar side of Vince’s abilities.
