TED NUGENT - Kamp For Kids Rolls Into Colorado

The highly successful TED NUGENT Kamp for Kids (TNKFK) will be held in Colorado for the first time this year. Since the Kamp was created over a decade ago, Colorado Kamp Coordinator Carol Ashurst spent many hours planning and organizing to get the TNKFK in Colorado. The 2010 TNKFK will be held July 16, 2010 near Quail Mountain, Colorado. The Kamp will be hosted by the Colorado Bowhunters Association and held in conjunction with their Annual Colorado Bowhunters Association Jamboree (www.coloradobowhunting.org).
The one day event will teach youth ranging from 4-17 outdoor skills including, archery, firearms, fishing, game calling, wildlife identification and wild meat tasting, and survival. The Kamp will provide hands on activities in each topic. The CBA has secured sponsorships from the Colorado Division of Wildlife, Clark’s Processing, Bass Pro Shop, Daisy Firearms, Hunters Specialty Gear, etc. to make sure this event is great for all youth that attend.
